Allora Gallery is an independent photography space devoted to capturing the fleeting, the poetic, and the unseen. We celebrate photography as a way of storytelling that goes beyond words — a medium that allows us to observe, question, and connect through what we see and how we see it.
Each month, we curate exhibitions around a central theme, welcoming photographers of all backgrounds, styles, and stages of their creative journey. Our goal is to build a space where diverse voices come together to reflect the world as it is, and as it might be seen through a more attentive lens.
Allora means “then” or “so” in Italian — a word often spoken in moments of pause, just before something begins. For us, it’s that quiet in-between — the breath before the shutter clicks, the stillness before the story unfolds.
In a world where images are constantly created, we believe in the power of the attentive gaze. Each exhibition at Allora is an invitation to slow down, notice the details that are easy to miss, and find beauty in the everyday. We strive to build a community where photographers not only showcase their work but also grow through dialogue, feedback, and inspiration from fellow creators.
Allora Gallery was founded by photographer Oksana Bochina, whose work centers on street, travel, and architectural photography.
Currently based in Montenegro, Oksana was named among the Top 35 Photographers in Montenegro by both the 9th and 10th 35AWARDS. In the 10th edition, she was also recognized among the Top 150 photographers worldwide in the categories of Street Photography and Urban Landscape (Architecture). The competition saw participation from over 110,000 photographers across 174 countries. Her photographs have been featured by Street Photo International and exhibited in various countries, including the UK, the USA, Brazil, and Australia.
Driven by a desire to capture life as it happens—honest, unscripted, and full of quiet meaning—her photography explores the spaces where people, cultures, and nature intersect. Through her lens, the gallery continues this mission: to offer others a platform to share what theysee, and how they see it.
